The National Football League is a professional football league containing 32 franchises, separated equivalently between the National Football Conference and the AFC.

The National Football Conference includes 16 teams from various communities from around the country like Chicago, IL. The National Football Conference is made up of four divisions, the NFC East, the NFC North, the NFC South, the National Football Conference West. The National Football League’s NFC division is comprised of franchises like the Seattle Seahawks.

The AFC is made up of 16 teams from communities from around the USA such as Boston, MA. The AFC is comprised of 4 divisions, the American Football Conference East, the AFC North, the AFC South, the American Football Conference West. The National Football League’s American Football Conference division is comprised of organizations such as the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The NFL is one of the 4 leading professional athletic venues in the United States of America, and the highest professional level of American football in existence. The National Football League’s four month regular season runs from early September to late December, with individual teams participating in 16 games and receiving 1 week off during the normal season lineup. Following the conclusion of the regular schedule, 6 ball clubs from the National Football Conference & American Football Conference move into the playoffs. The 4 division winners and the two franchises (not division champions) with the {best|highest overall standing have earned spots in the playoffs. The 2 best rankings from each conference are allotted a bye week, while the lower standing 2 conference winners play in the wild card round with the 2 wild card teams. The NFL play-offs are lose and go home games ending in the NFL’s championship tournament, the Super Bowl, which is usually held on the first Sunday in February following regular season play, and is played between the winners of the NFC and American Football Conference.

European Football League schedule set

Five teams from four countries will compete in the European Football League (EFL) in 2017.

With last year’s champion the Frankfurt Universe, from Germany, along with Dutch runner-ups the Amsterdam Crusaders and the Badalona Dracs  from Spain moving over to the Big6 this year, the EFL Bowl, scheduled for June 11, will feature a new champion.

The five teams competing this year have been divided into two groups. Group A consists of Italy’s Milano Rhinos and the Nice Dauphins from France. Group B is made up of the Berlin Adler from Germany, France’s Thonon-les-Bains Black Panthers and the Prague Black Panthers from theCzech Republic.

The European Football League, under the current format, was established in 2014, the same year the Big6 European Football League was launched. The three EFL Bowls until now have been won by the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes (twice) and Samsung Frankfurt Universe.
