Is It Possible To Regulate ADD and ADHD With Food?


Commonly, parents ask if ADD and ADHD issues are able to be managed by food we eat.


It would be ideal if our food choices could help the brain work better and reduce symptoms like clarity, moodand other known symptoms of ADD and ADHD.

Studies have been done to find out if food impacts symptomssubstantially. So, the results of such impact of food on how we feel is hereby revealed.

A lot of people aren't shocked to learn that specific
foods are important and actually do reduce signs of ADHD or ADD.

A balanced ADHD diet regime for both adults and children, including the right foods  and reducing those "bad" for you kinds, could actually prevent the highs and lows experienced with symptoms.


Some of the known
foods that are helpful with ADHD symptoms:

- High Proteins like poultry, especially chicken, salmon and other fish, beef, cheese, milk, cottage cheese, nuts such as almonds and peanuts, seeds and beans to name a few.

Reduce intake of heavily sugared types such as: candy,chocolate,overly sweet cereals,pastries,donuts, jelly and more which most of us are aware.

So, while controlling the foods we eat may improve symptoms, they may or may not be all that's needed to balance life.

Get out and play or walk and be more physical. Activity is known to benefit for indications and symptoms of ADHD.
