Having a Pomeranian puppy around the house is a delightful experience. Their beautiful face and fluffy hair. There are special care that goes into having one. Because they are so tiny, it is important to "puppy proof" your home from the eye level of a Pomeranian's height. If you dropped a coin, or if a button falls off your shirt, a Pomeranian may consider that as something interesting and explore it with their mouth. With a small throat like theirs, you can see the potential danger.
So it may be a bit more work for you. But it would be worth their safety if you could get down on the floor on a regular basis, and see if there's anything there that could be potential hazard to your Pomeranian.
Speaking of tiny necks, it's quite possible that you'd be taking your pomeranian for a drive. Because they are small, you might decide to put them in a booster seat for dogs so they can see out the window, even out the dashboard. When you buckle your tiny Pom to their seat, please be sure to attach it to a harness, and not to their neck collar. If you need to make a sudden stop, this would protect them from potential injury to their neck.
